My brand identity isn't hard to figure out. It's pretty clear, I gravitate to automotive photography. Everyone photographs what they think is beautiful. It's not that I don't think that other things are beautiful, but I just don't have the passion to photograph other things in a way that's inspiring. When I look at a car, however, I can't help but what to document it. Some could argue that theres only a finite amount of ways someone could personalize a car, but I disagree. Even if two cars look exactly alike or have the same parts they aren't even remotely the same. Each car is its own being, and has its own unique personality. Each owner feels differently for their car and each owner has goals and dreams for their car. I like to hear people talk about their cars like they are more than just machines. They are expressions, projects, hopes, dreams, and friends. If you treat a car well it will treat you well. If you love a car it will love you back. That's what truly inspires me. I see love between humans every day, and I don't doubt that love between living things is beautiful. But to me, there is something so magnificent about knowing something physically cannot love you back, but not treating it any differently. I know these cars are inanimate objects, but that doesn't mean we have to treat them that way.
